Ingegneri Riuniti in Treviso for the meeting on "Earthquake Safety at Work"On March, 9th, at 3p.m., at the Unindustria space of Palazzo Giacomelli in Treviso, the meeting on "Earthquake Safety at Work", organized by Unindustria Treviso and OICE, will take place. This meeting is focused on earthquake regulations in Italy and in the Region of Veneto, with particular reference to workplaces; Engineer Luca Reggiani for Ingegneri Riuniti will participate in the event as one of the lecturers. Engineer Reggiani will introduce a synthesis on earthquake occurred in Emilia in 2012, with particular reference to the damages to industrial warehouses and their rebuilding. This was, in fact, one of the main aspects of the tragic event occurred 5 years ago. The damages to prefabricated buildings produced serious consequences, not only in terms of human lives and material damages to the buildings, but also in terms of interruption of the production; therefore, some of the safety measures implemented will be described during the meeting. These interventions has distinguished themselves by their quick assembly, their consistency with the ongoing production activities and their inexpensiveness, that may be a feasible proposal outside the Emilian seismic area, too.
