Inauguration of the Culture House in Calderara di Reno

 

On January, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th the new "Italo Calvino" Culture House was inaugurated in Calderara di Reno with a two-day event.

The Culture House is the result of a process of urban regeneration that allowed us to recover and restructure parts of the old nursery school. This intervention is the achievement that better shows the commitment of the municipal administration in redefining the structure of the city and seeing culture and creativity as real sources of wealth for the community, as primary indicators of its well-being, and as important levers for its promotion and future growth.

Starting from next Monday, all users will be able to use the new spaces that include a wifizonecovered square with a newspaper library and a small library, a refreshment area and free gathering spaces, an auditorium with 90 seats, a multi-purpose room with internet stations, an atelier/workshop room with a clay baking oven, and a soundproofed music rehearsal room with basic tools and equipment.

The team of Ingegneri Riuniti, who designed the structure, was at the ceremony, and wishes the municipal administration a future of social and cultural activities for the citizens!
