Demolition and reconstruction of farms buildings damaged by the seismic events of May 20 and 29, 2012 (MO)

At the end of 2014 Ingegneri Riuniti concluded several assignments related to the planning of the reconstruction of earthquake-stricken farms. The project activities have been developed through the use of BIM (Building Information Modeling), managing at the same time the development of architectural, structural and plant aspects and its computations. The adopted procedures, thanks to the REVIT software, have permitted a strong decrease of design times and better control of interference aspects of the building’s different components, thus providing a controlled and conscious design product.

The management of architectural, structural and engineering systems interferences through advanced software interacting will bring significant benefits even in phase of realization, this way reducing contingencies, execution time and extra costs.
