Green light to the works at the church of Santa Maria Assunta in Casinalbo (Modena) The restoration works to repair the damages of the church of Santa Maria Assunta in Casinalbo (Modena) have finally started; the works include the restructuring of the vaults of the crypt and the main naves, the construction of metal stiffeners and plates on the roofs, and the securing of the jutting elements such as pinnacles and stone spheres. The intervention will be completed with the restoration of masonry, plaster, friezes and gates of the main front, as well as with the reconstruction of the pavement of the churchyard, for a total amount of approximately 325,000 Euros. Once the scaffolding is assembled, the surveying operations of the roof will begin, an operation which will be preparatory to the supply of plates and metal stiffeners.
