Earthquake resistant: an interview with Architect Zivieri on Casa Naturale

On the magazine CASA NATURALE, in the November/December 2016 issue (now available at the newstand), you will find the article "Earthquake resistant", born from a double interview with Architect Elisabetta Zivieri from Ingegneri Riuniti, a designer with a huge expertise in post earthquake recovery interventions in established historical areas, and Professor Giovannetti, Associate Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Economics "Marco Biagi" of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Zivieri and Giovannetti talk about the technical-regulative solutions suggested to rebuild the Province of Modena after the earthquake in 2012. Their comments bring us to consider the emergency as a great opportunity to relaunch and increase the value of the territory, in order to integrate the "physical" reconstruction of buildings and infrastructures into a newer and more modern economical-productive system.
