What kind of well-being? New social models Urbana post CovidRethinking a society that focuses on the well-being of the human being. Redesign innovative and multiform concepts of space, time and sociality. These are concepts that experts in the field have often questioned, but that have now returned to the foreground after the outbreak of the pandemic Covid-19, which has radically changed our daily habits, socialization and the way we move in private spaces, public and shared. From these assumptions was born the project "What Kind of wellbeing?" created by the company Engineers Riuniti spa Modena. An open, sharing and discussion virtual space, accessible on the WELLBEING.INGEGNERIRIUNITI.IT website (it is already possible to read some contributions) where in the coming months all the proposals from industry professionals will be collected: engineers, architects, urban planners, sociologists and professionals from the world of arts and culture. But also from anyone who wants to contribute to a redesign of the City of tomorrow. In fact, we need the shared effort of each of us to forge new models of urban sociality, which do not neglect any aspect of human well-being. Reshaping cities, overturning the relationship between downtown and suburbs. Designing new housing structures that include a limited space dedicated to work (agile), but also to sociality. Whether it is real or virtual, spaced or proximity but in any case safe. "In this particular time, full of reflections on what is most dear to us and what our priorities are, it is necessary to put the ESSENTIAL back at the centre of our lives. Maybe we all need to get rid of burdens, unnecessary weights, empty goals to look back with clean eyes and light thoughts our social, family and professional life", says the president of Engineers Meeting Emanuele Gozzi.
