Engineers Meeting was engaged in the elaboration of an executive project related to the works of Urbanization of Sub-Environment C of the program of requalification of the field Ar (S-F) ex Cisa Cerdisa.
After the demolition and reclamation works, the project of the urbanization works relating to 1 and 2 has been carried out. Implementing excerpts that are at the service of the buildings of the lots n. 1 and n. 2 (which includes the construction of a shopping center that includes the hypermarket COOP ALLIANCE 3.0 and a complex for medium sales facilities as well as an area for a fuel distribution plant).
The area is located in the municipalities of Sassuolo and Fiorano Modenese and is bordered by an existing road network, northeast by Via San Francesco, north/east by Via Adige, east by Via Lamarmora, south/west by Via
The design therefore concerns the removal of functional urbanizations in particular for the implementation of lots 1, 2 and 3 but already takes into account, in particular as infrastructure of network services, the future implementation of sub-areas A and B identified by the POC.
The project concerned primary urbanisation works and in particular roads and car parks of primary urbanisation, sidewalks and pedestrian and pedestrian paths, separate sewerage networks for black and white water, water distribution network and natural gas, provision of fibre optic networks and video surveillance, electricity distribution system, public lighting, telephone network;
In function of the verifications made with the Municipal Administration of Sassuolo, it has also given course to the design of the final arrangement of the public green area towards the town of Braida, assuming among others the following design elements:
verification of the existing trees, placed at the western edge of the intervention area in order to evaluate the vegetative and landscape aspects.
the realization of a system of paths and equipment that allows the daily use with multiple functional cycling, play, fitness. ,
project of the green system with particular attention to the shading of the paths during all seasons, opting for single-variety tree-lined avenues associated with plantings composed of different varietal choices, in order to obtain different heights and greater aggregation of species and a responsible attention to the factor "Biodiversity" so important for the enhancement and redevelopment of the place.
PROJECTS
Following the evaluations already made during the drafting of the traffic study, the new road works to be carried out at the same time as the implementation of the Section and in particular:
a perimeter primary road network to the section (on the western border of the same) that connects via Statale with Via San Francesco where the latter intersects Via Lamarmora; this road will have the characteristics of an urban road of type E with roadway of 8 meters flanked by pedestrian paths on both sides
a roundabout with 6 branches at the junction between Via Statale, Via Copernico; of the 6 branches one will be the entrance to the public car park facing the commercial area, another will be reconnecting with Via Copernico that will be closed in the final stretch where you would go to insert on an exit arm of the roundabout. The element with rotary circulation will not have a perfectly circular shape but slightly oval in order to obtain the space for the 6 grafts
realization of a roundabout with 4 arms, 40 meters in diameter, at the intersection of Via San Francesco and Via Lamarmora with an additional lane for those arriving from Sassuolo along Via San Francesco and heading towards the commercial area
connections and adaptations of existing roads with the roundabouts described in the previous points
construction of a 3-arm roundabout, 36 meters in diameter, along the new connecting road to give access and functionality to the entry/exit system to the parking area of the Shopping Center
along the new road has also been thought to set up a system of public transport stops that will then be activated according to agreements between the municipalities of Sassuolo and Fiorano Modenese with the Mobility Agency of Modena (AMO) .

Within the green area that will remain on the western border of the PUA will be built cycle-pedestrian paths connecting the streets of the district Braida, Via Adige, Via Brada, and the nodal points of the PUA such as roundabouts to Fiorano and the square within the shopping area.
Construction of public parking in frieze to those pertinent to the service of the mall.
Public parking on the west side of the road connecting the new roundabout on Via Statale with Via Copernico. Work indicated as 2 excerpts of the urbanization works at the service of Sub-Area C
Public parking will also be obtained on Via Braida and Via Copernico in order to increase the availability of parking spaces at the service of the existing residential area and to make the green area on the West border of the Compartment
