The intervention, currently underway, concerns the extension of a hospital building with the insertion of a new maternity ward and the expansion of the heat and power station including the installation of new cogeneration groups. The hospital site does not have electricity and gas connections to external networks; therefore, all the necessary energy must be produced on-site. The systems have been designed aiming to remain under budget and for simplicity of operation and maintenance, since all activities are carried out within the hospital site and supplies and any spare parts are difficult to find.
